Cards Against Humanity is a party game for horrible people.
Unlike most of the party games you’ve played before, Cards Against Humanity is as despicable and awkward as you and your friends.
The game is simple. Each round, one player asks a question from a Black Card, and everyone else answers with their funniest White Card.
And it is distributed under a Creative Commons license, meaning it is not only free to play, but remixing, and changing the game are more than just encouraged.The official hard copy has been sold out for a while now, but a PDF of all the cards, and instructions distributed by the creators for making your own deck can be found here.

I remember now why I was originally so fascinated with Yume Nikki and all of the fan games. They seemed so innocent and sweet, kids exploring their dreams and other assorted worlds, seeing what’s out there.
The nightmares show up. Kaibutsu, Toringen, you name it. They’re unsettling, being the only things that can all of a sudden “harm you”, forcing you to wake up and leave the dream world.
As you avoid them, you find more places, more characters, and attempt to get a better perspective on what the heck is going on with the main character. And that’s where it gets creepy. Did something happen to them? What does this event mean? Why is there blood everywhere?
Forcing the player to speculate and wonder by only giving them some of the information can backfire on a developer of a story, but can also create a very interesting game, as the fandom has shown. It’s all speculation, ha ha. I need to play Yume Nikki again with that in mind.
